CALLISTO
Trifolium pratense
- 2 - 2,5 ton protein per hectare
- Very winter hardy
- High feeding value
- Early - Intermediate flowering
Huge amount of protein
CALLISTO is a diploid variety of red clover which delivers a very high yield of forage and - most important - protein, where trials show more than 2,5 ton of crude protein per hectare.
Good properties
CALLISTO sets flowers relatively early and has a good standability leading to quick regrowth after cutting.
Excellent Mixing Partner
CALLISTO fits very well in most clover based mixtures, especially together with upright, tall-growing grasses like Italian Ryegrass, Hybrid Ryegrass and Festulolium.
CALLISTO has a flexible adaptation to various managements but as partner in mixtures for cutting (silage, haylage, hay) it really shows the potential..
