J Sustain Fairway
- Diverse 100% fine fescue blend
- Strong disease and stress tolerance
- Fine, dense fairway turf
- Excellent performance under dry conditions
- Adapted to exposed and free-draining sites
- For links, heathland and inland fairways
J Sustain Fairway is a high-performance, multi-fescue mixture developed for golf fairways where fine turf quality must be combined with reliable performance under dry, exposed or otherwise challenging conditions.
Each fescue type contributes a different strength. Chewings fescue provides high shoot density, fine leaf texture and strong disease tolerance, helping maintain a clean and uniform surface. Slender creeping red fescue contributes fineness, playability, drought tolerance and tolerance of saline conditions. Strong creeping red fescue supports persistence and recovery through its more vigorous rhizomatous growth.
Hard fescue and sheep’s fescue broaden the mixture’s adaptation to dry, exposed and free-draining sites. Together, the five fescue types form a fine-leaved and visually consistent fairway capable of maintaining good turf cover and playing quality when growing conditions become difficult.
The balanced sward supports clean ball contact, good ball lie and a firm fairway character. This makes J Sustain Fairway particularly relevant for links and heathland courses, sandy soils and inland courses seeking a resilient fine-fescue fairway.
