J 4turf 50
- 50% 4turf® tetraploid perennial ryegrass
- Rapid establishment in cool conditions
- Improved disease and stress tolerance
- Strong recovery
- Good rooting and winter performance
J 4turf 50 is a high-performance perennial ryegrass mixture developed for sports pitches. Its balanced combination of 4turf® tetraploid and diploid perennial ryegrasses brings together complementary strengths for establishment, durability and playing quality.
The 4turf® varieties provide rapid and vigorous establishment also at low temperatures, strong rooting and improved tolerance to cold, drought, disease and other stresses. Their improved disease tolerance towards pink snowmold and red thread is particularly valuable when cool, damp conditions place the turf under pressure. The diploid ryegrasses add shoot density, leaf fineness and surface stability, helping produce a tight, uniform playing surface.
Together, the two ryegrass types provide fast recovery without sacrificing turf density or visual quality. J 4turf 50 helps maintain reliable ground cover, secure footing and a consistent surface during periods of intensive use, making it particularly suitable for autumn and winter renovation programmes.
