GREENPLAY
Poa pratensis
- High traffic tolerance
- Excellent recovery
- Very high density and fineness of leaves
- Medium green colour
High traffic tolerance
GREENPLAY resists very frequent play due to the improved wear tolerance. Even after matches in poor conditions with softer surface the recovery is excellent.
Persistency and disease tolerance
The high wear tolerance adds persistency, and it is further enhanced by the aggressive rhizomatous growth allowing self-repair. This is highly appreciated when used for golf fairways. Excellent Drechslera leaf spot tolerance and resistance to rusts, preserves the visual merit and helps to maintain the high density of the turf.
Uses
GREENPLAY will fit into most sport field mixtures where wear tolerance is of utmost importance. Several options are possible: Mixtures with perennial ryegrass for normal conditions and with tall fescue for the more hot and dry regions. Where high winter hardiness is required, a blend of two or three Smooth Stalked Meadow Grasses is recommended.
