VIVARO
Lolium westerwoldicum
- High yield in late cuts / summer
- Good rust tolerance
- High total yield
- Spring or autumn sowing
Top yield with more cuts
If spring sown, the main yield of VIVARO is from ultimo May through June and continued through the summer if water supply allows it.
This is interesting when other forage sources tend to run short. During the summer months rust can be a problem, and the good rust tolerance of VIVARO is an extra security for maintaining yielding ability and forage quality.
More flexibility in the forage supply chain
Being later than average annual ryegrasses, VIVARO allows a better distribution of yield when combined with fields of standard varieties.
In particular, it will take of the spring peak of forage production with more time to conserve the forage under optimal conditions.
