- Excellent persistency
- High total yield and yield of the 1st cut
Fast establishment and spring growth
Janka's establishment is among faster varieties of Smooth-stalked meadow-grass. Spring growth in a variety test trials was considerably higher. While other check varieties' mean score was 5/9, Janka was scoring 7/9. This results in a very high yield of the 1st cut!
Good rust tolerance
Rusts create a problem when it comes to forage quality. Janka can withstand the pressure of these fungi well, and help you secure a good quality and yield for your feed!
Protect your yield from summer drought
The earliness of Janka brings security in getting a high yield before the summer drought comes. Farmers can harvest earlier in comparison with other varieties of Smooth-stalked meadow-grass. This is a particularly good trait in the current climate when summer droughts are more and more apparent.
