Toddington is highly recommended if you are looking for a late diploid perennial ryegrass.
Currently the variety with the biggest first cut in the late diploid group. The yield of Toddington even tops the yield of tetraploid varieties. Thus, Toddingten is one of the top varieties of the early late maturing group in terms of yield.
Healthy and resistant
Also the other agronomic characteristics are outstanding. Among them are the good resistance to leaf spot and particularly the outstanding rust resistance. Not only does Toddington surpass its competitors in the maturity group, it is also the best diploid variety in the late heading group at the time of approval in terms of rust resistance with a scour 3 (low is best)in Germany.
