ZARASTRO
Lolium multiflorum
- Diploid with very high total yield
- Strongest regrowth potential
- Best rust and bacterial wilt resistance
- Ideal mixtures partner for 1-2 year leys
Disease resistance
In the criteria rust and bacterial wilt resistance, ZARASTRO differs positively from the rest. This is one of the reasons for the high forage quality and the high yield obtained.
High yield, not least in summer
ZARASTRO has a summer oriented production. In average of 20 local test years in Germany (calculated), ZARASTRO gave six percent higher yield during the summer months, compared to other diploid varieties !
Recommended use
Due to the high DM yield and strong regrowth, ZARASTRO is very suitable for silage use. Zarastro has a very good ground cover, which leaves no space for weeds in the field. The very good winterhardiness and persistence helps keeping this high ground cover over years.
