LAMPARD
Lolium x boucheanum
- High yielding perennial type hybrid, intermediate heading
- Persistent throughout main harvest years
- Suited for conservation and/or grazing
- High palatability and forage quality
LAMPARD - a perennial hybrid
As a true Hybrid Ryegrass, LAMPARD’s habit is rapid growth after winter that generates a high, early spring growth yield. The high production continues in the aftermath and places LAMPARD in the very high end of the large family of Hybrid Ryegrasses from DLF, a family that counts members like Storm, Citeliac, Solid and many others.
Very high persistence
LAMPARD is a perennial type of Hybrid Ryegrass and combines excellent persistence with higher yields than standard ryegrasses – even in the third year of use.
For conservation and grazing
The high production in spring combined with the fast regrowth after cutting makes LAMPARD very well suited for conservation mixtures, but it can certainly also add (spring) yield and quality to a grazing field.
