DLF delivers solid results and returns DKK 50 Million to its owners

With a strengthened financial foundation and significantly reduced debt, despite lower revenue due to portfolio changes and currency effects, DLF is well positioned for the future, according to the Group’s newly published Annual Report. At the same time, the company’s owners will share in the positive development, as DKK 50 million will be distributed to members’ individual operating fund accounts.
DLF delivers solid results and returns DKK 50 Million to its owners

Today, DLF presents its results for the 2025/26 financial year at the Group’s Annual General Meeting in Nyborg. The results reflect a solid business performance and are at the upper end of the earnings guidance range.

Revenue amounted to DKK 6.9 billion, while earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) reached DKK 376 million. At the same time, interest-bearing debt was reduced by DKK 258 million, and operating cash flows remained strong.

The 2025/26 financial year was characterised by focused execution and strategic progress despite continued geopolitical uncertainty and challenging market conditions. Through a dedicated commercial effort, we delivered a strong result while streamlining the business and creating a stronger platform for future growth. Several years ago, we established a clear plan to strengthen our financial resilience, and we have delivered on that plan. Our owners are seeing the benefits today, while it also provides us with a strong foundation for realising our ambitions in the years ahead,” says Søren Halbye, CEO of DLF.

Improved balance in global markets supports positive development
The 2025/26 results reflect a more balanced market environment, while the effects of the adjustments DLF has implemented in recent years are now clearly visible.

A gradual normalisation of supply and an improved balance between supply and demand have contributed to the positive development. Demand for seed has increased across several segments, although with some regional variations.

DLF’s global presence and flexible supply chain have enabled the company to capitalise on growth opportunities across markets and effectively manage regional differences in demand.

Strategic initiatives under connecting to grow progress as planned
In 2025, DLF launched its Connecting to Grow strategy with the aim of streamlining the Group and strengthening the foundations for future growth.

During the year, DLF advanced the implementation of the strategy’s seven global initiatives, focusing on areas such as product leadership, a shared culture, and more scalable business processes.

At the same time, efforts to strengthen procurement and pricing have been intensified to improve profitability and support DLF’s long-term development. Investments in the Group’s operating assets and facilities have also tripled compared with last year.

”The progress we achieved during the year through debt reduction, stronger cash flow and improvements in our capital structure represents the first visible results of the initiatives launched under Connecting to Grow. We are therefore better positioned to invest in the future.

With continued focus on research, innovation and our global market positions, we will strengthen DLF’s competitiveness and create long-term value for our customers, owners and other stakeholders,” says Søren Halbye.

DLF enters 2026/27 from a position of strength with positive expectations
As we continue to execute our global initiatives under Connecting to Grow and benefit from a more balanced supply situation across several of our markets, we expect positive business development in 2026/27.

DLF enters the new financial year with a strong financial foundation and a continued focus on improving operational efficiency. Based on this, we expect stable development in both revenue and earnings, supported by improved market conditions, continued innovation and disciplined risk management.
