On June 4, 2025, we invite all grass enthusiasts to a grass festival! Grassland 2025 – Northern Europe's largest machine demonstration with a focus on clover grass – at Elmegården at Frederiks is hosting the big grass festival for the fourth time
On June 4, 2025, the grassland and agricultural machinery industry will gather for Grassland – Northern Europe’s largest live machinery demonstration focused on clover grass. The event takes place at Elmegården near Frederiks at the center of Jutland, Denmark, on 50 hectares of productive grassland, where around 80 machines will be operating live in the field.
DLF is proud to co-organise Grassland 2025 in collaboration with DM&E, Elmegården – Frederiks, and Maskinbladet. At the event, we will present our latest innovations and insights in forage species, seed mixtures, and variety development – all rooted in scientific expertise and practical application.
Focus on Agronomy and Variety Performance
In 2025, there is an increased focus on agronomic insights. DLF has established small demonstration plots showcasing a wide selection of grassland species and herbs, sown in spring 2024 and now in their first production year. Visitors will be able to:

Discover a range of seed mixtures and new varieties of lucerne and forage herbs
DLF product specialists will be available on-site to share knowledge about our breeding work and advise on optimal seed choices for different conditions and goals.
A Key Industry Event
Grassland is an important venue for sharing knowledge, building networks, and showcasing new technologies. More than 6,000 guests attended the last event in 2022, and we look forward to another successful and insightful edition in 2025.
