PASSION shows high wear resistance along with very fine and dense growth. It makes it very suitable for a wide range of uses.
Red thread is a threat!
When the red thread disease explodes it can lead to a disastrous visual aspect and compromise the lawn for the season. It is often seed as patches up to 25 cm in diameter, but when the susceptibility is high the patches merge and leave little turf unaffected for recovery.
Genetics for low input
Red thread is a menace for low input lawns. Especially the lack of N-fertilizer will expose the lawn to severe attacks; affecting visual merit and persistency. PASSION wil do much better than average due to its very high red thread tolerance.
