AKTIV
Lolium westerwoldicum
- Autumn as well as spring sowing
- Superior with several cuts
- Excellent rust tolerance
- Very good lodging tolerance
More than one cut
Most annual ryegrasses are suited for one or two cuts.
AKTIV shows better persistency, often allowing 3-5 cuts.
Three quality parameters to enhance forage quality and preserve yield:
- Excellent rust tolerance. It preserves the yielding capacity as well as the feeding quality and palatability.
- Lodging tolerance. Less soil contamination, easier drying for silage or hay, and of course much better feeding quality.
- Diploid = Faster drying and better conservation.
Seasonal adaptation:
AKTIV can be sown in the autumn as well as in the spring.
Mixtures:
AKTIV can be sown pure or in mixtures with other fast growing varieties and legumes.
