MASSIMO
Lolium perenne
- Unbeatable 1. cut yield
- Exceptional overall disease resistance
- Good total yield
- The choice for 1.cut silage
Top level diploid variety
The name is program for MASSIMO!
A very high yielding variety with excellent first cut yields. The yields at first cut are unique for an intermediate diploid variety.
In the summer and fall the yield is not as enormous as in the first cut, but you get excellent quality forage. The reason for this is the very good disease resistance of Massimo (see table below).
It is a modern variety type and goes with the requirments of up-to-date grassland farmers. MASSIMO fits into all kinds of mixtures that are yield and first cut oriented or for a combination of cutting and grazing.
