Dactylis glomerata
- Late heading
- Good disease resistance
- High yield potential

Late heading/maturity type
ATHOS is one of the latest maturing varieties available on the market, with a heading date usually one week later than Pennlate. Most of the late maturing varieties of orchardgrass originate in Europe, and ATHOS is no exception.
Confirmed in Europe and USA
ATHOS has performed well in Europe and this is now confirmed in the USA.
Number 1 in the UK grazing trials
ATHOS ranked number one in yield in the official NIAB forage grazing trials in the UK.
Excellent fall growth
In addition to high yield, ATHOS is noted for having good fall growth, which translates into an even yield distribution over the entire growing season.
You should also consider using ATHOS in mixtures with other grasses and legumes, alfalfa in particular.
