Turfway managed to perform very well in the demanding French official trials as well as in the latest NTEP series (sowing 2012).
It combines dark green color with superior heat tolerance for excellent summer performance. The dark green color persists into winter and returns early in the spring.
Disease tolerant, including brown patch
High tolerance to Microdochium, red thread disease and leaf spot, but also to the frequently occuring brown patch.
Uses
Turfway is recommended for permanent turf in full sun to shade in lawns, parks, sports field, sod farms, and golf course roughs. The ideal mixture companion species is smooth stalked meadow grass (Kentucky bluegrass).
And Turfway features remarcable salt tolerance.
