Darker than most chewings red fescues
GREENMILE is ranked as one of the darkest chewings red fescue varieties. This can be a criteria for incorporation in some mixtures with darker varieties of other species.
A "lawn variety" par excellence
GREENMILE will perform very well in all kinds of "lawn uses" from the low cut UK lawns (10-12 mm) to the higher cut German and French lawns (2,5 - 3,5 cm).
Qualifying for all uses in the German RSM (2013) - Scale: 1-9, 9 is best:
- 8 = score for adaptation to Lawn
- 8 = score for adaptation to Greens
- 8 = score for adaptation to Sport
- 7 = score for adaptation to Extensive use
